Jen Underwood is a recognized analytics industry expert. She has a unique blend of product management, design and over 20 years of “hands-on” development. In addition to keeping a constant pulse on industry trends, she enjoys digging into oceans of data. Jen is honored to be an IBM Analytics Insider, SAS contributor, former Tableau Zen Master, and active analytics community member.
In the past, Jen has held worldwide product management roles at Microsoft and served as a technical lead for systems integration firms. She has launched new products and turned around failed projects. She also writes for InformationWeek, O’Reilly and other tech industry publications.
Jen has a Bachelor of Business Administration – Marketing, Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and a post-graduate certificate in Computer Science – Data Mining from the University of California, San Diego.
Matt MorrisPrincipal Consultant
Matt leads research and market analysis specializing in the areas of data platforms, data warehousing, integration, analytics, business intelligence and machine learning. Prior to his most current role, Matt has worked in enterprise technology sales, software development and solution architecture roles at Microsoft and other technology firms. He has experience with mid-market and large enterprise organizations across a variety of industries as well as public sector.
He works with customers to help them understand and implement high innovation and transformational technology solutions in the areas of analytics, cloud computing, and developer tools and platforms.
Matt has a Bachelor of Science, Management Information Systems from Florida State University and a Master of Science, Technology and Innovation Management from The University of Tampa.
Mitesh PatelExecutive Advisor
Mitesh is a seasoned, executive level program manager and IT strategy consultant. He has helped successfully transform and execute the global strategic initiatives of Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries and sectors. Today he is an executive at a leading robotics company combining robotics technologies with artificial intelligence.
Mitesh has experience building, leading, and executing strategic initiatives. Having managed and executed strategies of over half a billion dollars in budget, Mitesh has successfully led transformational initiatives; global outsourcing; acquisitions, divestitures, and mergers; in addition to rapid results process improvement initiatives. Additionally, he has built, matured and executed strategic planning offices, EPMO’s, and PMO’s.
